Chairman’s Report for May

Pyons Group Neighbourhood Development Plan
We are approaching the final stage in the process of completing our Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP). Starting with the Parish Plan, this has seemed like a long journey, and represents a lot of work. By using the data we collected from the questionnaires and public events, we have set out to encapsulate the wishes and aspirations of all our parishioners for local development to 2031.

The Referendum on Thursday 11 May 2017 is your chance to decide whether those aspirations have been met. If supported by more than 50 percent of those who vote, the Pyons Group Neighbourhood Development Plan will be adopted, and form the basis of all future planning decisions made in our group of parishes until 2031. Every eligible parishioner will receive a voting card, and we very much hope you will vote in the Referendum.

The Neighbourhood Development Plan is available to view under the ‘Parish Council’ menu.
