Recycling Centre: Bridge Street, Leominster. Open daily 8 am to 6 pm.

Refuse Collections: See Household bin collection  for calendar. Generally rubbish and recycling collections are fortnightly with recycling (green bins) and general waste (black bins) collected on alternate weeks, as follows:
Canon Pyon, King’s Pyon and Ledgemoor: Tuesday mornings.
Westhope: Friday mornings.

Canon Pyon Stores and Post Office (Tel 01432 830355)

The Stores and Post Office, run by Marcus and Carol Williams, is a thriving village shop, stocking a wide range of locally-sourced produce as well as every-day essentials.

Opening hours are: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 7.30 pm; Saturday 7 am to 6 pm; and Sunday 9 am to 12 pm.

The Post Office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am to 1 pm and 2pm to 5.30 pm; Wednesday 9 am to 1 pm; and Saturday 9 am to 12.30 pm.

Pubs and Restaurants

Nags Head and Wonkey Donkey Tearoom (Tel 01432 830725).  The village pub has recently changed hands and we welcome the new landlords Mac and Val, who as well as offering home-cooked food and local ales have recently opened the Wonkey Donkey Tea Room. Canon Pyon Playing Fields

The Playing Fields, opposite the parish hall, has a full-size football pitch, a cricket wicket, an adventure trail and BMX track, as well as a zip wire and play area for small children and a hard surface area for tennis, basketball and five-a-side football. Contact Marcus at the shop for further information.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on the Playing Fields.
